Attorney Adel is one of only 22 attorneys in Ohio certified as an Elder Law Specialist by the National Elder Law Foundation (NELF). NELF is approved by the Ohio Commission on Certification of Attorneys as Specialists and by the American Bar Association. Attorney Adel is rated “Superb” by AVVO which is a professional organization that rates 95% of the attorneys in the US and considers years in practice, disciplinary history, professional achievements and industry recognition.

Attorney Adel has also been admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims and is accredited by the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Attorney Adel is a member of the American Association of Trust, Estate and Elder Law Attorneys (AATEELA), an invitation-only, nationwide professional association as well as the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA).

Attorney Adel has provided educational seminars to seniors and their families throughout Ohio. He has also been a guest on 610 WTVN Local News and has written articles for USA Today, the Cincinnati Enquirer and Columbus Business First. Attorney Adel is a frequent contributor to Our Generations Magazine, Senior Outlook Today and DepositAccounts.com.

Attorney Adel graduated from Ithaca College in New York and Capital Law School in Ohio, earning his Juris Doctorate in 2000. In his spare time, Mitch and his wife Kim enjoy spending time with their niece and nephew and play co-rec softball and golf with their friends.
